In the preview edition of the Games, Olympic Review will offer a more detailed insight into the sports programme, the competition venues and the cultural and educational activities that will be laid on for the young athletes and participants at the next YOG. the chance to take part in many of the cultural and educational activities that will be laid on in a year’s time, giving the YOG organisers vital information to help perfect the athlete experience.For example, the Argentinian judokas Luca Ridao and Guadalupe Acebedo both took part in Campus 2018 and are hoping to qualify for the YOG. If they do, these two talented youngsters have vowed to give everything they can on the mat to make it to the top of the podium and win gold for Argentina. As well as identifying talented young athletes, the programme has resulted in a considerable rise in the number of young people joining sports clubs and federations throughout Argentina. It has been backed up by investment in infrastructure, with existing regional training centres being refurbished and new ones built.
