There are only two players inside the court so you really have to push yourself to your limits Ð and you have to work out your deficiencies because you donÕt have a substitute. You always have to do your best and be the best that you can be. ThatÕs what I love about the sport.ÓYou always have something you can improve on. You always have the little details or something you can do better. When you get the chance to compete among the best players, it makes you reflect and think about your strong points and weak points.ÓWe have a psychologist who works with us and she is the best. She knows how to make us improve. After she started working with us, we were better in our communication and the way we played. We have started to work with her for every game and it helps us to keep our concentration and our focus about what we have to do [during a match].ÓWe donÕt have a particular pre-match routine. We just like to train at the venue and see what the weather and the sand are like. We also like to find out if the hotel is near or far [from the venue] Ð we like to calculate these things. But itÕs not a superstition. Fortunately I donÕt have any superstitions or lucky charms, and neither does çgatha.ÓWe have someone who takes care of nutrition for us Ð so we eat what they tell us to eat! ItÕs healthy and gives us what we need. Physically, we push ourselves on the court and in training, so we need the right food to ensure we get the best out of our bodies.
