The indoor arena is the traditional home of volleyball in Brazil, and has hosted several elite international competitions, including the 1990 OLYMPIC STADIUMThe Olympic Stadium, known locally as the ÒEngenh‹oÓ, will stage the athletics track and field events, as well as group-phase Olympic football matches.
