For the stories behind these 
athletes who have given their all in 
pursuit of the Olympic dream, the 
Olympic Channel is on the ground 
in all four corners of the earth to 
bring you comprehensive coverage 
of the “Road to PyeongChang”. 
Starting with the Olympic torch 
lighting in Olympia (Greece), to the 
moment it lights up the Olympic 
cauldron to mark the start of the 
Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 
2018, you can follow the stories behind 
the athletes as they make their way 
to the Republic of Korea.

In following the journey of the 
Olympic fl ame, the Olympic Channel 
features daily highlights and an 
interactive map with fun facts and photo 
galleries of the Olympic Torch Relay 
as it is carried by 7,500 torchbearers 
on its way to the Olympic Stadium. 
And with some 3,000 athletes 
scheduled to compete in 15 disciplines, 
fans can log on to the Olympic Channel 
to fi nd out who will be competing in 
each event as qualifi cation continues. 
Viewers can also watch their 
favourite winter athletes and sports 
in brand new original series from the 
Olympic Channel, including the new 
virtual reality series “Trending Gold” 
featuring the Nigerian bobsleigh team 
and Korean short track speed skaters 
Kim Ye-jin and Hwang Dae-heon, and 
Shaun White in “Legends Live On”.
