OLYMPIC EXPERIENCES “I was so young when I competed in my first Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 that I had no expectations, but I was determined to learn as much as I could and enjoy the experience. In 2014 in Sochi, it was different because I had won the European Championships a month earlier and I went to Russia in good shape and hoping to finish on the podium. It didn’t happen – I finished fourth – but I was not heartbroken because I was happy with my performance. I am never sad if I feel I have skated well.” “The decision-making process when it comes to routines and costumes is a collective one. I will sit down with my choreographer, my designer, with Brian and other people in my team and everyone will share their ideas about the music and the clothes.
