For so long, athletes have been meeting to compete every four years. That was not lost on me at the turn of the millennium when they asked my country, “Who would you send to swim, bike and run?” and they sent this young guy from Kingston, Ontario. It’s about so much more than just a sporting event. For me, it is about going somewhere, finding best practice and sharing that. That’s the beauty of it.MY GAMESOLYMPIC REVIEW 73
