However, for the equestrian events in Stockholm, a different medal design was used, with a horse and rider appearing on the front side and the Olympic rings, torch and motto on the reverse.MEDALSThe emblem for the Olympic Games Melbourne 1956 was composed of an image of Australia, with a torch and the Olympic rings superimposed.
