Huntingdon DFAS Church Recorders presented their Record of All Saints in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, on April 10. Pat Hamilton, who leads the group, handed over the two volumes which represent over four years’ work and gave a short explanation of the methods and aims of Church Recording. One of Ipswich DFAS’s most successful Young Arts projects is an annual exhibition for young artists organised in collaboration with Ipswich Art Society and University Campus Suffolk. The exhibition is named after Anna Airy (1882–1964) former President of Ipswich Art Society and a war artist during WW1.Described in the local press as “one of the cultural highlights of the year”, the Anna Airy Award Exhibition has become an increasingly high profi le event, attracting entries from well over 100 students from sixth forms and colleges in Suffolk, Cambridge and Norfolk. Ipswich DFAS is proud to sponsor the four awards, while the students are thrilled to see their work hung in a gallery.Below: Jac Fletcher, Chairman of Ipswich DFAS (left) withstudent Noelia LawsonThe fi nished Trail was presented on Palm Sunday to the vicar and congregation by the Chairman of Hereford DFAS.
